Ben Jurevicius - Pastel Studio
| There is too much beauty in the world to simply pass it by unnoticed. We must stop, linger, and sample all that we can. With each new painting experience, I become more aware of the colors, values, and shapes around me. The simplest patterns of shadow and light, or the subtlest variations of tone, often compel me to capture the moment. Pastels are a truely wonderful medium. My goal is to convey my enthusiasm and excitement to the viewer, drawing them into the work and allowing them to experience it afresh for themselves. |

Pastel Classes |
| I lead a pastel painting class throughout the winter and spring season at the Deerpath Art League in Lake Forest, IL. These 12 week sessions meet each Wednesday evening from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM starting September 17th, 2008 through July 1st, 2009 and are appropriate for all levels of proficiency. If you have never worked in pastels or have wanted to explore this exciting medium more deeply, this class is for you! Class fees are very affordable and the facilities are excellent.
